Just as a little bit of site news – this site has now been running for just over 2 years! I launched this site on April 25th 2005 and since then it has grown quite steadily off the back of some friendly recommendations and links.
I’m not sure if this one really qualifies as an Easter Egg, it’s more of a little known feature. wouldn’t it be easier once you have played around with settings like levels, hue and saturation and filter settings to have a ‘reset back to original settings’ button – well now you can!
Very occasionally Photoshop can really start acting strange, and if none of the troubleshooting tips on this site have helped you sometimes the only cure for a problem in Photoshop is to trash the preference files. Yea, you can go digging around your system for them, but there is a quicker way!
The Photoshop preset manager is a fantastic way to manage brush, custom shape and other ’sets’ in Photoshop, but sometimes you just need to quickly delete a few brushes without having to bring up the preset manager. Yea, you can use the little bin icon at the bottom, but that always brings up a dialogue box confirming deletion – wouldn’t life be better without it… sure would, so read on!
More brushes for Photoshop – I thought it was time for some swirly spirals after showing someone a cool technique to create nice, soft edged spirals I thought someone might find a use for them!
