I am personally still on CS2, but one of my larger clients upgraded to CS3 about 6 weeks ago, which I have now had a chance to work with for a while… is it just me being set in my old ways or have Adobe gone a bit off-track with their new tool palettes?
Great news for Photoshop Ninjas everywhere - Adobe are launching Photoshop CS3 on March 27 - and everyone is invited by Adobe to experience the launch!
Wow, check this out - in a bid to battle against the growing power of Google on-line applications, it looks like Adobe are going to launch a free ‘cutdown’ version of Photoshop for people to use on websites like Flickr!

Rumours are about on various websites that hint at some very exciting news for Mac Photoshop users - Photoshop CS3 running under MacOSX 10.5 could support XGrid, Apples distributed network processing technology!
Photoshop have done us proud by releasing a public beta version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 months in advance of it’s official release - go get it now and see what all the fuss is about!

It seems like the wait for a native Intel based Mac OSX version of Photoshop, due for release sometime next year (rumored to be around Easter) has just been made a whole-lot sweeter with a new Apple MacOS system update.

I think many people would agree that it is suprising that Adobe are making users wait until around start of second quarter 2007 until they release the ‘proper’ native version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 - but why such a long wait?

I have finally had a chance to play around and review Photoshop CS2 - and it seems that they have overhauled the layers palette functionality, which has been pretty much left un-touched for a while. With a new way to multiple select layers and also a different layer linking method it seems opinions are out at the moment on this! (more…)
I have heard time and time again that the cost of Photoshop is too high, which invariably comes from students and non-professional designers, but lets just say that I have heard it mentioned on the grapevine by some not-so-reputable professional design outfits too - that could easily afford to buy it and no-doubt make a-lot of money out of it!
