Creating overlapping text layers

It can be frustrating working with text in Photoshop - especially when you want to create a new text layer that overlaps an existing text layer. With the type tool selected, Photoshop will edit an existing text layer, rather than create a new one.

Moving selections whilst drawing them

Changing and checking ruler measurements quickly

Sometimes you want to change your ruler increments in Photoshop from, say Millimeters to centimeters or even pixels. Many people will find themselves going to Preferences>Rulers and Units to change this figure - but that sounds like a-lot of unnecessary clicks to me!
