Designers who are producing work for the European marketplace often need a Euro symbol, but the problem is that many fonts are still missing this crucial currency character – so here it is in all it’s glory – light, medium, bold and black in both plain and italic variations ready for you to download and use at any size or resolution… 8 variations in total to help you match against your typeface without the Euro symbol.

Custom vector shapes are the ultimate handling format for this type of graphic, they will scale to any size at perfect resolution, and can be resized over and over again without any loss in quality as opposed to bitmap graphics that suffer from resizing.
TO INSTALL: Just decompress the zip file and drag the single file to Applications>Photoshop>Presets>Custom Shapes. If you restart Photoshop you can then load them off the various palette menus with a single click!

If you have put it in the correct location as described, simply re-start Photoshop and click on the custom shapes tool. Then click on the preview of the selected custom shape in the options bar across the top of the screen, and click on the little arrow to the right of the list – you should see all the groups of custom shapes listed that you have installed in the custom shapes folder.

My pleasure – I got irritated by the lack of Euro symbols in fonts (especially when using Photoshop), so glad it’s just not me that finds it useful!!
