Hidden reset shortcut in dialogue boxes

I’m not sure if this one really qualifies as an Easter Egg, it’s more of a little known feature. wouldn’t it be easier once you have played around with settings like levels, hue and saturation and filter settings to have a ‘reset back to original settings’ button – well now you can!

By simply holding down the Option key, the Cancel button magically transforms to a Reset button, allowing you to stay in the settings dialogue rather than having to hit Cancel and then go back into the dialogue box for your effect/setting.

This is nothing new? That feature has been around at least since PS 5.5 but I am quite sure it was already there in 3.1 as well.

It is a neat little thing, but using the phrase “now you can” is incorrect.

Indeed, this is nothing ‘new’ and maybe the way I wrote this tip is a little misleading. The phrase “now you can” refers to the issue of not knowing this shortcut before experiencing the issue, rather than it being a ‘new’ feature.
