Applying text changes in full screen mode

When you are working in full screen mode (with no palettes visible) you have a problem when editing text – as you cant hit tab to reveal your ‘apply tick’ in the main palette across the top of the screen!

This is something that bugged me for a while, often meaning I ditched text changes, hit tab to reveal the palettes and then repeating what I had just done…obviously not too clever! Then one day I finally discovered the answer, simply hit the enter key on the numeric pad at the bottom right of the keyboard, this performs the same task as hitting the apply tick – nice and easy, but one that catches out lots of people!

Oh, and dont forget the shortcut for activating the the text tool is T, no other keys required, if your learning shortcuts this is an easy one to remember I think you will agree!
